Anyone who has checked out this blog has noticed I have not been blogging much for quite a while... Well, the reason is I have been working on a major update of this site...
About a year ago Morgan Carey with Real Estate Webmasters approached me about updating my website. (I have been a client of Real Estate Webmasters since 2005 and they are the one's who built my custom site when I moved NCLH off of the Point 2 Agent platform back in 2005.
Anyway, Morgan pointed out that from 2005 to 2009 there have been a ton of technological advances in the industry and I should be utilizing them; so, after kicking around the idea for several months (and analyzing what the costs would be to update my old site with the new features I wanted) I finally decided to take the leap and I purchased REW's LEC-2 (limited edition custom site).
If you are a buyer, the biggest difference will be the quick search function in the upper right corner of every page. From the quick search you can view listings by Map, Subdivision, MLS #, Zip Code, City, and School District. This allows my clients to really narrow down what they are looking for and then also create their own custom searches.
Talking about creating your own custom searches... Another great feature of the new site is the Control panel. Access to my clients control panel is located right below the Quick Search and is titled My Account. The Control Panel is where YOU have the ability to customize YOUR search experience. You can save your favorite listings, schedule showings, and communicate with our Exclusive Buyers Agents.
Another huge improvement of the site is the Detailed Listings Pages. The Detailed listings pages are where you as a buyer or seller view information about individual listings... On these Detailed listings pages we have added enhanced mapping technologies which include street views of the property, Birds Eye views, and a lot more details of the property. What details you might ask? We have added information about the HOA, About the Subdivision, Schools, Pet restrictions, Room sizes, Views, types and locations of the fireplaces, the appliances which will stay with the house, and in the near future you will be able to view more detailed Demographic information...
It is my hope that this changes will increase the users experience on my companies site. If anyone has any input on what additional features that they believe would add to the users experience please either email me or call me.

My site is also done by REW and Morgan. It has many features that my clients seem to appreciate. Probably getting time to check into upgrades on it though.

I think you will really see the benefit in this new system. We use a similar system and it has been a life saver with lead management. Good luck!

These Lec are great. I am looking to get the new LEC5 for the Dallas area when it comes out. Great site by the way
