Free San Diego Coastal Train Ride

San Diego County Residents can joind Santa and Mrs. Claus for a FREE Train Ride Dec. 16th from Oceanside to Sorrento Valley and back.  Here’s the Southbound pick-up times… Get there EARLY!!!

Southbound Pick-UP Times

  • Oceanside - 2P.M.
  • Carlsbad Village 2:07 P.M.
  • Carlsbad Pointsettia - 2:14 P.M
  • Encinitas - 2:21 P.M.
  • Solana Beach - 2:28 P.M.

Northbound Drop-Off times

  • Solana Beach - 3:04 P.M.
  • Encinitas - 3:11 P.M.
  • Carlsbad Pointsettia 3:18 P.M.
  • Carlsbad Village - 3:25 P.M.
  • Oceanside - 3:32 P.M.

COST: FREE - Passengers are asked to bring Nonperishable Food Donations.

Santa’s Coaster Experss

Santa’s Coaster Express will be decorated for the holidays and filled with holliday fun.  There will be music, singing, and pictures with Santa.  The train ride begins at 2 pm at the Oceanside Transid center and will operate at reduced speeds and continue all the way down to Sorrento Valley.  The ride is being sponsored by the North County Transit District (NCTD).
